Teresa Siragusa had a heart of service and charity, making everyone she knew feel loved, welcomed, and seen.  Teresa worked at Hayes Elementary and was an active volunteer in the Cobb County School System for many years before working as a special education teacher at the high school. She had the biggest heart for all of her kids and especially her special education class at Kennesaw Mountain High School.  The scholarship, founded by her family, as a way to honor Teresa and give back to those students she served and loved, is awarded annually, with the first scholarship being awarded in April of 2024.  The scholarship is given to a graduating special education student who wants to continue their education.
